Finalists of each individual category will receive:

    Images showcased as part of the official Sony World Photography Awards 2014 exhibition in London

requirements:       Submissions must be based on a body of work.
    Photographs submitted in to a category must be from the same body of work and will be judged as such.
    Images entered in to the Professional Competition must have been completed or first published in 2013.
    First published in 2013, means that the photographs entered may have been taken before 2012 but due to having been commissioned by a client to be published in 2013, have not been publicly exhibited or published in any online or print media before 2013. For more details see the rules below.

Basic, Advanced and Premium Members can enter a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 images into each category 

The photo Competition is free to enter.
The Professional Competition is open to all Photographers entering a body of work.
All entrants must be over 18.
Images should be no smaller than 800KB and no larger than 5MB. Images should be either JPEG or TIFF files. All images must be saved in the RGB colour model. All entrants must be able to supply a high resolution image suitable for printing in exhibitions should the image be required.


Each Entry does not contain any infringing, threatening, false, misleading, abusive, harassing, libellous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic or profane content
Each Entry does not contain any material that could constitute or encourage conduct, which would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law
